Alex Hughes, an ex-convict, is on a road trip to Winnipeg to wait upon an old friend. Along the space, he meets the annoying, but sprightly, Vivienne Freeman who manages to bum a ride through him. Just as he begins to violent to this eccentric girl, Alex's medium is in a serious automobile calamity that kills Vivienne. After his company with the police, Alex decides to talk with Vivienne's mother. Upon arrival at her home, Alex discovers that the dam , Linda, is a highly functional autistic woman who convinces him to stay long-winded to take out the garbage the generation after the funeral he agrees to range. In those few days, Alex discovers commencing friends and learns more about the uniqueness of Linda steady as he struggles to come to stipulations with his own grief.
